Bright Eyes

Our eyes get brighter here at TPWP when Jaime Hayon releases a new design. So, you can imagine my happiness when I found a feature on a new chair design of his over at the wonderful blog Yatzer.

And oh what a chair it is! Looking like a cross between a Thonet cafe chair and a Victorian lounge chair designed by an alien, Hayon's twentytwo chair would be at home in the lobby of a stuffy old hotel or on the deck of the Starship Enterprise.

After you are done with the post on Yatzer, you must not miss the website of the furniture company itself: Ceccotti. If you are in the market for futuristic furniture crafted in an old world manner (I know I always am), you would do well to start there.
