Always interested in new takes on old themes, I fell (swooned) for this tableware the moment I saw it. The creator,
Ruth Gurvich is an Argentine artist who studied and now lives in Paris. She developed the shape of these porcelain pieces by first making folded paper models. In fitting fashion, the tableware is made by
Nymphenburg, who has been manufacturing porcelain for 260 years. Certainly these pieces are not cheap. But they will look just as fantastic to your ancestors eyes 100 years from now.
