You'll be very excited when you walk in. Expensive interiors, tasteful details, sexy bar, extremely friendly hostess, exciting menu...... and....your excitement will end there as you trip over the inept server and tumble down a very slippery and steep hill.

I won't bore you with the many minute details of dysfunction, of which there are many.

Here is the distilled version:

-Super super SUPER slow and inattentive service.
-Horribly cooked meats (overdone lamb, and, by overdone i don't mean medium instead of medium rare, I mean cardboard instead of medium rare).
-I would've sent our dishes back, if our server had checked on us, or walked by us in the 20 minutes we sat there, but he didn't, nor did he ask if everything was ok when he took our plates away and saw that we hadn't eaten more than two bites, but he didn't do that either.

Sad, because Circa has great potential, the location is prime, the ambiance is fantastic, the outdoor seating is a gem, the brunch menu sounds heavenly (I might still try it). Hopefully they have a big iron in the back, because they are really going to need it if they want the food and service of this place to look as good as the decor.
